A little village of Pottachira is situated in focal Kerala, the area of Ottapalam. The village has a very enormous area and not very huge number of inhabitants, scarcely contacting 500 individuals. The territory is well known since a huge memorable sanctuary, Ponmugham Siva Temple, is situated there, which is a sacrosanct spot for the most ardent Hindu devotees of the state.
