Jharna is a little village in Jharkhand, situated close to roadway 12 running from Purulia to Dhanbad. The settlement is little, with around 800-850 inhabitants living there. It is a simply rural network, with a large portion of the families getting their livelihoods and living assets from their fields and gardens.
