About the Tour

On this tour we will visit the two best-known and most interesting islands near Venice: Murano and Burano. The Island of Murano is known for the manufacture of blown glass. On the tour we will visit the Canal dei Vetrai, full of shops where the best samples of Murano glass are exhibited and sold. In addition to glass, Murano offers us an important artistic and cultural offer, highlighting the Basilica of Santa Maria and San Donato, a masterpiece of the Italian Romanesque or the Church of San Pedro Mártir, famous for its blown glass lamps. We will also go to a glass factory where, whoever wishes, can see an exhibition by a master glassmaker on how to blow glass.
