About the Tour

We are going to visit the fantastic Pedra do Telegrafo and one of the virgin beaches of Guaratiba.

Guaratiba is a neighborhood in the western part of Rio de Janeiro, almost 60km from Ipanema, hidden between hills and is an atypical walk for international tourism.

We will start by taking the metro to Barra da Tijuca, where we will make 3 small bus trips to get to Barra da Guaratiba.

It is here where we will begin our walk of almost 1 hour and a half through the jungle, until we reach the Pedra do Telégrafo.
There I will help you take all the photos you want so that your instagram explodes with likes and your mother gets scared!

IT IS IMPORTANT that you bring a bottle of water (or two), fruits and something to eat. Keep in mind that we will be in the jungle for almost 5 hours.

After being here for a few minutes, we will descend and stop at Perigoso b

About the Guide
Hola! I am Pupi (or Gonzalo). I am a musician and comedian from Argentina, I was working in a very serious company in Buenos Aires as a multimedia designer and teacher, until one day I decided to leave everything and go to live in Rio de Janeiro, I believe that (in my case) 32 years is enough to stop procrastinating dreams and living in this city is one of them. I visited Rio for the first time in 2014 and I fell in love with its streets, its people and everything about its beaches. Today I continue working as a freelancer because I love being able to have my free rats to go to this beautiful city.

How to Find Guide
We will meet very early at the General Osorio station in Copacabana.
