Walking through Pisa’s history

Pisa is not just the Leaning Tower, it is much more!

The walking tour begins in Vittorio Emanuele II square, and it ends up in Piazza dei Miracoli (literally Square of Miracles), where the Leaning Tower is located.

We will start the tour with the famous murales by the legendary pop artist Keith Haring, then we will cross the river and pass through the old streets of 'Borgo Stretto' with it's original workshops, and we'll discover the heart of Pisa, 'Piazza delle Vettovaglie'. 

Later we will visit ‘Piazza dei Cavalieri’, with a focus on the Medici family, and then continue to Piazza dei Miracoli, where we will talk about the architectural masterpieces of the Medieval period.

This square will make you travel through time, as we  talk about the enormous power and influence of the Maritime Republic of Pisa in the past; We will start with the history of the Duomo, then the Baptistery, and last but not least the Leaning Tower.
