About the Tour

Hello! I offer you to discover the revolutionary area at Saint-Germain-des-prés through that beautiful area from Odéon to the "quartier Latin". You will know more about Paris, the french revolution, and the Paris of the middle-aged until the early 20th. Many details and the architecture tell us a lot about ancient times.

The tour starts at Odéon, near the statue of Danton, a leading figure of the french revolution. We will continue to Cour du Marché Saint Germain, a meeting place of the revolution times. After, we will see where Pablo Picasso painted Guernica. We will go to the fountain Saint Michel and we will come to the Latin district where were founded the first university in Paris, la Sorbonne. I will show a hidden masterpiece of Salvador Dali in the street. We will admire the oldest tree in Paris plant in 1601.
