About the Tour
The Euromaidan Revolution, dubbed “Revolution of Dignity”, took place in Ukraine in the winter of 2013/2014. It's a series of violent events involving protests, riot police, and snipers which culminated in the ousting of the 4-th Ukrainian President, Viktor Yanukovych. After the Revolution changes were made in Ukraine's sociopolitical system, including the formation of a new government, president's elections and police reforms. Opposition to the revolution in some eastern regions escalated into the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, its military intervention and the subsequent War in Donbas. Includes: Most of the locations where Revolution was happening: Independence Square and it`s neighborhood, October Palace, Hotel Ukraine, European Square, Dynamo Kyiv stadium.
