Where love finds a cell

Come along on a search for traces in our lovable, lovely Liebenzell. On a varied walk (1-2 hours, depending on your wishes) I will show you the most beautiful corners of our town and introduce you to the exciting history.

From the Hirsau monks, who for known reasons settled their female colleagues in our "love cell" with a little safety margin, to the giant Erkinger, who also had a special interest in women, to the nobles who chose this beautiful place to be their vacation home everything is included.

Upon request, I would be happy to "specialize" the tour in the direction of the Liebenzeller Mission and its global work for over 120 years. How, for example, the shady north slope became a "fire-breathing mountain". Or why it took a visit from King Wilhelm II of Württemberg so that the young mission could finally be "left in peace".

First job as a master gardener, then 10 years of church development work in Zambia / Africa, since 2005 Liebenzell electoral citizen and enthusiastic hobby historian, tracker and adventurer.
