About the Tour

Frankfurt am Main is one of the most cosmopolitan and international cities in Germany. It houses several financial institutions and the headquarters of the European Central Bank , which is why it is sometimes called "Bankfurt".
The tour starts at An der Hauptwache Square , next to the entrance to the S-Bahn station. During our 2.45 hour walk we will visit iconic places such as: the birthplace of the most brilliant German poet Johann Wolfgang Goethe and the Church of St. Paul where the first freely elected German parliament met. We continue to the Altstadt (old town) of Frankfurt , the charming district full of half-timbered buildings to admire the Imperial Cathedral , Römer's town hall and Römerberg Square. The tour concludes at the picturesque pedestrian bridge
