About the Tour

Visiting the Treptower park Soviet Memorial is a journey into Berlin's Soviet past. An opportunity for art and history lovers who want to discover spaces in the city away from the most popular tours. We will get to know the history and symbolism of the most impressive and least known monument of the Soviet footprint in Berlin. The largest anti-fascist memorial in Western Europe where tribute is paid to the Soviet soldiers who fell in the battle of Berlin. A trip to the city's past, to the battle that ended with the Second World War and with 80,000 red soldiers. A monumental example to also know Soviet Realism, the official propaganda art that prevailed in the Eastern Bloc until the end of the Cold War. Architecture, sculpture and landscaping at the service of the great ideals of Communism. To relax from the emotional footprint left by the monument, we will take a walk through the Park to finish having a beer in one of the bars located on the piers on the banks of the Spree River.
